Has custody been lost?
A question that many young people ask themselves in recent years after the state began to move towards empowering women and equating them with men before state agencies and seeking to cancel any condition or request that requires the presence of a guardian or mahram in all state agencies, and changing many of the regulations that stand in the way of women, here the question poses itself strongly Is there a war on the husband’s guardianship and the status of the father, especially after the emergence of protection systems and allocating numbers for reports of violence, which swept a wave of fear among some young people from the marriage project, especially after the emergence of childish, rude and provocative speech that you, male, no longer have authority and we heard your cries.
This has caused some people to lose confidence in modern women and made the idea of reluctance to marry come to their heads, and rightly so, especially with the provocation directed at men, which is practiced by some girls who believe that with the power of the government they can do whatever they want and all they have to do is call a phone number and all their issues will be solved.
In doing so, they bring out the worst in men, although some believe that when she sits in a position of weakness, she begs and brings religious texts that she did not believe in before, believing that with this speech she can subdue the man, on the contrary, they are laughing at themselves, as men decide at the moment to abandon responsibility.
In this harsh world abroad, they will suffer more because the government will not be there at every moment to protect them or address their psychological or financial issues. Raising children, if some mothers succeed, not everyone will succeed, especially since women here have to combine work and education alone, and this is something very few women can do, and the vast majority will suffer and fail to achieve the minimum amount of good education for children, and even work, and this will all come back to society as a whole. Divorces will reach high rates, spinsterhood rates will increase, the fertility rate will decrease, crime rates will increase, domestic violence issues will not stop, and we will hear about things we have never heard about before, drug abuse and mental illnesses, and all this will reflect on the productivity of society and the economy, not necessarily directly, but after several years, and society enters a deep crisis that is difficult to get out of as a result of the disruption of natural social roles and the loss of the role of the family and its values if we continue in the process of empowering women under the pretext of equality with men and granting them their rights.
There is no doubt that the mandate given to the man in the Sharia as a husband or father is governed, as the Sharia did not give him absolute power without accountability, but it also made intervention in certain cases, even with the parents, he ordered to treat them well, even if they ordered infidelity, because of the great virtue and importance of parents. The family in the Sharia and our Islamic culture is the nucleus and the basic component of the family, The father is a shepherd and is responsible for his shepherd and the woman is a shepherd in her husband’s house and is responsible for her shepherd. The provisions of the family in the Qur’an are detailed, unlike many provisions that are not mentioned in detail, such as some acts of worship, and this is only evidence of their importance.
The wise Shari’ah did not leave room for ijtihad in them, such as the texts of inheritance, indicating the etiquette of entry for children and forbidden women, stating the man’s wardship, the wife’s disobedience, and other detailed rulings, unlike other rulings that are summarized in the Qur’an and detailed by the Sunnah, which emphasizes the importance of family provisions in Islam, and that they are surrounded by divine care, The family is the nucleus from which society and the nation are launched, and it is the protector after God of society from many calamities. Indeed, family cohesion and social solidarity work wonders and make society endure even in the most difficult living conditions, and family cohesion is what made the Arabs cohesive for the most part, But when families are destroyed and the authority of the man is weakened and the social balance is disrupted, this is where the slow death occurs and the laws are reversed, and this is the fate to which humanity will become if it does not stop and restore social conditions to normal, where the man is the master, not two heads in the house, each seeing that he is the master, and the ship is led by one captain, not two, if it happens otherwise, the ship will not go, and this is the year of life since God created Adam on earth, which preserved the human lineage to this day.
Here, some people ask, has qiyamah been lost? Or that what is currently happening is the rebalancing of society and getting rid of male domination and the occurrence of participation between men and women in society, not as it was in the past that women were disabled and could not be utilized as supporters of women’s empowerment answer, In fact, empowerment policies in their true dimension are economic and partly social. The introduction of women into the labor market is not intended to promote women’s independence, but rather to take advantage of human resources that the market can benefit from, diversify the source of income for the family, and participate in construction, but the issue is that these open policies that are intended to change the shape of society and develop it without taking into account the cultural and religious context of society, Without trying to prepare the society to accept the new situation or study it, if we think well, but it is a flow of implementation without considering the consequences of things, if these policies came in light of a global context that urges women to rebel and considers the normal family an enemy and seeks the approach of the single individual and homosexual families and is supported by a local current, which has taken a populist form, The results have been bad from the disintegration of families, the escape of girls, the rebellion of wives even sometimes without a logical or actual reason, such as violence or otherwise, and the abandonment of mothers from their children, all in the desire to live the illusion called independence and freedom, and at the end of it is destruction.
However, the current policies, under the pretext of empowering women, have removed from most regulations the term mahram and the requirement for a male guardian in any matter related to women. The term mahram has been completely abolished and no longer exists, and the systemic support that the man had for his family and his family has been removed. The state no longer intervenes in forcing a girl, for example, to return to her family or hand her over to her mahram, but rather
As the poet says, he threw him into the water and told him not to get wet in the water, they took away the lion’s teeth and claws and asked him to hunt in a clear confusion that you do not know where he ends up and where they want to reach us. When European societies were criticizing the disintegration and dissolution and the loss of the family concept and the large number of illegitimate children, here we are following them, from pressure on the man and scaring him from marriage and even high social costs and threatening him if he does not spend on his children and bearing their mistakes without helping him and giving him his right to discipline him, And then there are those who blame young people for the reluctance to marry and that they are not men because they are not ready to bear the costs and put them in travel or the value of a car, when the young man bears all the responsibilities and punishes him if he falls short and threatens him and even weakens his prestige and incites and asks him to be a man and get married, and as it is said, live Rajaba, you will see Ajba, what is happening in fact is a war on men, weakening his strength and destroying the family with its legal concept that is supposed to be from obedience of the wife to her husband and children to their fathers, it is war even if the official states that he is keen on family cohesion and stability.
We say that the decisions never reflect what they say, but rather indicate that it is a real war, and the continuation of this policy will result in disintegration, increased crime, poor security, and even political infiltration and betrayal. These policies must be stopped or at least considered carefully, taking into account social aspects and preserving family values to ensure healthy growth and harmony in society without stirring up resentment and social issues as a result of quick and reckless policies that are not well thought out and well thought out.
