Women’s Rights: The New Age Temptation
The issue of women’s rights is one of the most important contemporary topics at all, and it is one of the most important political and even religious topics, and it is a topic on which countries base their position on other countries, and full treaties have been dedicated to it, covering every part of it, and it has become a feature of our present era. Accordingly, the feminist movement emerged, which occupied and continues to occupy the world in its various waves throughout the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, and there is even a global organization called UN Women, which has no title other than women’s rights and equality, this from the political point of view. As for the intellectual aspect, hundreds and even thousands of books have been written about women and their rights in particular, and the matter did not stop here, but the topic became one of the most important intellectual conflicts between religious and civil currents, so one wonders sometimes when some fools repeat the saying “God will provide you with a job other than women. When they see a man talking about women and their rights, it is no wonder, because talking about you is the world’s concern and the concern of people. The women’s file is on the table of presidents when they speak, and international conferences are held annually, and it becomes the talk of the media, so it is impossible for a second to pass without a program or news about women, then you come and say, “Look for another topic from here.
The talk is not about women in particular, but about how societies conduct their affairs. Hence the importance of talking about women’s rights because it has become an entry point for changing governments and state policies and even influencing religions and a title of the conflict between civilizations, so it is worth talking about it, Societies are being pressured and pushed to change their lifestyle and destroy their style, traditions and values in order to generalize the Western model of contemporary women without any regard for the specificity of societies and religions in which countries believe, especially Muslims, as the pressure has been intense for more than fifty years, It is sometimes hidden and sometimes masked by methods that appear to be assistance and development but are actually malicious and sometimes direct pressure, such as cutting aid, influencing the media, putting countries that do not agree with them on a blacklist, choosing a name for them, cutting aid, and tarnishing the image of the country concerned in international media platforms, However, societies are still defending themselves in one way or another in an attempt to preserve their identity and values, and under this shiny title (women’s rights and empowerment), societies are being corrupted and promoting decadence, immorality, and debauchery.
Those who try to defend virtue and chastity with hostility, claiming that under these values women are oppressed and dominated, and dismissing anyone who is jealous of his family or his women as controlling them, and the leftist organizations that call for atheism, rejecting religions and encouraging homosexuality.
In our country, they are assisted by liberals and feminists, who have recently emerged as a populist movement with the slogan of women’s rights
After this narrative about the reason for talking about the topic, the question arises whether the title (women’s rights and empowerment) deserves all this global confusion and the fuss raised, whether locally or globally, and whether women have been oppressed throughout human history and that societies have oppressed them and oppressed them.
It is worth crushing societies and changing their concepts and values to liberate women from the oppression of customs and traditions, and whether everything that is mentioned in treaties and laws as a right is actually a right and what is the source of this right.
There is no doubt that injustice throughout history exists and is part of the evil that exists in this world, and women have gone through periods of injustice, as in the Jahiliyah, when they were infanticide, and other periods, except in the Roman era or the ancient European or Chinese civilizations throughout the civilizations of the ancient world, there was injustice and women were part of it, but women were not specifically the ones who were oppressed.
Rather, everyone was subjected to injustice, whether through wars, slavery, murder, and even genocide by civilizations, as the great West exterminated the Amerindian civilization. and is trying to do so today by destroying many types of societies to resemble its way of life, as in globalization, if the injustice was not specifically for women.
We say this so that no fool comes to us and says that you deny that women have been subjected to injustice or that they are oppressed, so we say yes, no one denies it, but injustice is part of the memory of humanity and it fell on everyone, and the injustice in our time is more
Do not try to portray to us that the time when humanity degenerated and its moral, pornographic and homosexual fall is a virtuous time in which man became a mere machine, that it is the best time that humanity has experienced, perhaps in terms of material progress, but morality and justice are not, enough of the crime of abortion, which violates the greatest human right.
All divine religions and positive laws came to protect it, which is the right to life that God granted to man, and they make ending the life of another human being who came on this simple earth a right and defend it with the strongest defense and call those who reject it backward, ignorant and undeveloped, this is what feminism does, gentlemen, it defends murder.
They talked about the huge number of females killed in the modern era in secular societies, as well as abortion in the West, which is that a woman aborts a child and kills it only because she wants to move between the arms of men and does not want a child to hinder her march of debauchery.
And then they talk to us about morality while they legalize killing in the most heinous ways. Someone will come and tell you that he is not a human being until he comes out of the womb and then we consider him to have the right to life even their definition of a human being is different, if they recognize that the child in his mother’s womb is a human being, he has the right to life, and your violation of him is a crime of no greater magnitude.
Even if we go along with you, euthanasia, as it is called, is legalized in several European countries and some American states. They tell you that they protect life and falsely call it euthanasia, which is really getting rid of a sick person because those near him can no longer bear the burden of the disease.
This is all due to the atheistic philosophy of morality, which considers morality to be relative, and even rights are subject to change over time, as abortion, euthanasia, and homosexuality are criminalized acts that have become permissible and can be recriminalized, as they look at what the majority considers right
Therefore, through their practical application, the right differs across time and between what can be right at a time, so even murder is the greatest crime, and we are talking about killing the innocent and peaceful, they have a choice, right and deprivation of the right in the sense that what governs them is whim and lust no more, but they envelop it with a false moral framework.
Just launch a lie and mobilize the media and people, and then they have a right to it. Values and principles are variable and there is no constant as in the framework of atheistic philosophy, and even in our era, the largest genocides in history occurred, where tens of millions were killed within the framework of atheistic communism, which was the largest criminal ideology throughout history.
One of its sources is the West, and leftist thought is the modified version of it, so we are not in the best times morally, but humanity has not seen a threat of annihilation in such times through nuclear and biological weapons and other diseases, so do not talk to us a hypocrite about the splendor of this time and the splendor of the West that brought us
They did not do it for the sake of God, but for the sake of monopolizing power and authority, and everyone knows how the world suffered until we reached this development through many wars and losses until it reached what it has reached today, and today we are plagued by new elements of corruption by spreading homosexuality, moral decay and others.
What is right today may not be right tomorrow, and they are always changing, so we, the people of the true religion, must determine what rights are and not let others tell us what rights or morals are.
Therefore, the concept of right in language: Al-Haqq is one of God’s beautiful names, and al-Haqq is one of its meanings, which is the opposite of falsehood, and is defined by some jurists in the Shari’ah: Although the definition is not mentioned in the old books of jurists in the Shari’ah, it is a specialty by which the Shari’ah establishes an authority or assignment.
It is a definition mentioned by one of the contemporary jurists, but the majority of the jurists’ usage did not deviate from the meanings of the language, so it sometimes comes as proof, which is something that proves to a person and becomes his right, such as the right of ownership or possession, or obligation, such as all legal duties such as prayer and zakat, these are the rights of God, and the right in this concept no one disagrees.
It may converge with the meaning set by the jurists of positive law, but the disagreement that arises is about the source of the right, that is, what makes the right a right. For example, when talking about human rights, including women, who decides this right, is it Sharia, human whim, treaties and conventions, or parliamentary councils.
As Muslims, when we talk about rights, they are immutable. What is right today remains right tomorrow until the Day of Judgment and vice versa, as well as morals and values, because we believe that the revelation, which is the Qur’an, is the word of God revealed to His Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), written in the Qur’an and worshipped by reciting it, which is miraculous in its verbal form.
This is the absolute right, there is no other right. Therefore, our only source of legislation and the basis for knowing rights is the Book and the Sunnah and what is derived from them, from which we proceed to determine what is right and what are the rights, and the jurists and scholars of Islam did not fail to clarify all this throughout history, as the books of Islamic jurisprudence and its volumes are thousands of volumes.
It may even exceed tens of thousands, and all of this is in explaining rulings and rights and what is for and against a person, starting with the book of purity and marriage and ending with the book of testimony and judiciary and other precise and detailed issues in human life, and modern scholars have completed the march.
Especially women’s rights did not stop producing and hundreds of books were devoted to it as a separate new topic. This is in accordance with what we mentioned earlier that the topic of women was and still is the focus of discussion in the intellectual arenas, and our Sharia is the only reference from which we must start when talking about rights, in the belief that Islam is a complete and comprehensive religion.
The Almighty says: “Today I have completed your religion and perfected my grace for you, and I have given you Islam as a religion.” It has flexibility and generality that accepts every new issue, although the issue of rights is an old issue and not a new one, and Muslim scholars have decided since ancient times on the issue of women and their rights
This is why you find many of them, when they argue about jurisprudence books, describe it as male jurisprudence because it did not come in accordance with their desires for discrimination and equality with men, and because the jurists adhered to the legal text and strived to interpret it.
Many of them tried to fabricate strange explanations, such as the interpretation that beating is spacing, for example, and they are led in this by deviant thinkers who believe that scholars throughout history have lost the right and they are the ones who found it, and this makes us emphasize the stability of our Sharia and its seniority in carrying the banner of justice and liberating humanity from injustice.
However, the Western liberal human rights concept today, which is based on relativism and what is supported by the leftist movements in the world, which is based on an atheistic philosophical background that does not believe in the existence of God and deifies man and makes him the center, and when dealing with women’s rights, it makes women the center and focuses on the concept of right in the sense of what is mine for man.
The concept of human rights has been transformed over more than 70 years, when in the beginning they were talking about human rights and the rights of peoples to self-determination and the protection of their right to life, and the rights of homosexuals and transgender people were not addressed at that time.
The policies of legalizing abortion and population change that emerged later in the 1990s, represented by the Beijing +5 and CEDAW agreements, some of whose provisions were explicitly contrary to Sharia, such as legalizing sex outside marriage and providing contraceptives, give us examples of the changing relativity of the right, which is the moral dilemma.
When they avoided religion and disbelieved in the Almighty, there was nothing to guide their moral compass, and here is the disaster, as Islamic countries and conservative societies, especially our society, the magnitude of the pressure that Saudi Arabia was exposed to was indescribable, especially
In international arenas and media platforms, it even reached the point of threatening and pressuring them, exploiting any internal mistake or crime and making it a global issue shows you the extent of the war on us until the state submitted for political and economic reasons and above that would not have satisfied them, so one wonders when some people talk and exaggerate the issue of women’s rights
Rather, he tries to ride the wave and tries to criminalize and condemn society for being unjust, and even worse, he condemns himself and says that he was unjust and foolish in his dealings with women, his mother and his sister, which is a foolish disregard for the nature of his society, its conservatism and the society’s derivation of the concept of rights from the Sharia.
Although not all customs and traditions can be attributed to the Shari’ah, but those that violate the Shari’ah were fought by the people of knowledge in the past and modern times, even if the authority did not intervene strongly to resolve these issues in the past, but they were fought, such as denying women inheritance and some other customs, and therefore feminist advocates of women’s rights
Other liberals and leftists use the issue of women’s rights as an umbrella to destroy our societies and even our countries by spreading moral and intellectual chaos and spreading atheism under the pretext of freedom, and they are not satisfied with some concessions, but do not rest until the temple collapses on everyone’s heads, When they made all the concessions and kept pace with the West in all rights, did they achieve anything they aspired to, but on the contrary, their misery increased, as all these countries often fight their identity and produce human freaks, and what we are going through will not bode well.
Change, when it happens, should not be based on external dictates, but rather it must stem from an internal will and conviction to correct the course, then the reform will achieve the desired thing and the state will rise and the conditions of the people will change for the better, so to everyone who talks about women and their injustice and makes their grievances an ongoing conversation, we say stop being dependent on your masters
The war is no longer in other countries or on TV screens, but in your home, and your riding the wave will be the first to pay the price, and the happy one is the one who learns from others and the unhappy one is the one who learns from himself.
